Town Hall 17: New Defenses & Upgrades!

Here they come! Yes, fellow fans of Clash of Clans, we are here to talk about Town Hall 17. The official Sneak peek #1 is upon us!

By now, you may have already seen Town Hall 17, and perhaps even some other exciting details. But let’s focus on its signature defense: the Eagle Inferno Cannon Archer Tower Artillery Machine Thing. No, wait—it’s actually called the Inferno Artillery. It is essentially an eagle with an inferno somehow thrown in there as well. I don’t know how they did it, but hey, it looks pretty cool!

Upgrade Town Hall 16 to 17

Speaking of looks, I’ve heard mixed reviews about the appearance of Town Hall 17. Some players joke that it seems like Supercell is trying to imitate other games imitating Clash of Clans. With its overall design, it almost gives off an Age of Empires vibe. Am I wrong?

Inferno Artillery

Now, let’s talk about the Inferno Artillery. As you can see, this beast is absolutely monstrous! This thing looks like it could one-shot entire armies. No, that’s not exactly true, but wouldn’t it be cool if we finally had a defense in Clash of Clans that was so powerful it made attacking feel almost impossible? Imagine if this thing made it nearly impossible to get even one star for destroying a Town Hall!

Anyway, a guy can dream, right?

Giga Bomb level 3

Now, let’s talk about another exciting addition: the Giga Bomb. This is a brand-new item, and you’ll notice it deals area splash damage to both ground and air troops. You only get one, so make sure to use it wisely! The Giga Bomb is coming to Clash of Clans, and it’s absolutely blowing stuff up. That said, it almost feels like it doesn’t match with the aesthetic of Town Hall 17. Am I right? Am I wrong?

Okay, here we go. Watch the Giga Bomb in action—one-shotting ground and air troops! That’s right.

And then, of course, we have the Inferno Artillery (or is it the Eagle Artillery?)—it honestly reminds me of a multi-mortar in its design. What do you think?

Anyway, there it is, doing significant damage to my newly upgraded level 13 giants before it’s taken down. And did you notice? It also leaves a lingering poison effect on the ground—damage over time that affects any troops unlucky enough to wander into the danger zone.

This new feature is going to be devastating for attacking units, but it also opens the door for some really cool strategies to develop.

Now, you may have noticed some higher-level giants, higher-level heroes, and plenty of new stuff coming to Town Hall 17. We’ll dive into more of that in just a moment.

Let’s talk about all the other exciting updates happening with Town Hall 17. You want it quick, concise, and to the point? Here’s everything you need to know:
